Hey all you country music fans out there - if you're a fan of "The Gambler" himself, Mr. Kenny Rogers, did you know we can learn some major tips about love (or what *not* to do) from this rhythm and blues saloon master? Sometimes the ballad fades out, and love strums a complicated tune. For instance, Kenny’s leitmotif came to crescendo with Marianne Gordon, an actress known for her role on Hee-Haw, descending (financially speaking) into not just any blues, but a whopping $60, pina' collada tainted, million-dollar deep blues!

Clearly, Mr. Rogers knew when to fold 'em, knew when to walk away, but we can't confidently say he knew when to "run"! The hit Spaghetti Western of a divorce amounted to a painfully hilarious jackpot of $60 million in luckless love tokens paid out to former wifey, Marianne, earning her not only his broken heart but a world's worth of margaritas too (hypothetically speaking).

But if there's any man to look toward for a lesson in humility, love, and still lassoing life by the strings even when the saddle falls off, it would be our good ol' love-struck desperado. There we have it, folks! In the world of Kenny, love might not always land you face-up in a bed of roses; sometimes, it could very well lead to extremely impoverished 'will-sing-for-food-or-alimony-settlement' moonlight serenades (and a mighty fine story for the grandkids in case getting them to bed is giving you some REAL cowboy blues).
